Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by an ethnically mixed family. Her mother is English while her father is Nigerian. She was born on the south London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained an acting BA. As a student at the academy was when she performed in various stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actor with the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. After this success, Madekwe played Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared for six seasons Trexx and Flipside. She was Bambi on The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & make people feel alienated, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 when she appeared on The thriller The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being ended on The CW. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series on ABC Revenge for two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she'd leave the series after making a guest episode in the very first series of the 3rd. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem as Tituba. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he had a role alongside her on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, is a member of the large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey in the winter months. Ashley was never able to walk but she was able to dance. At the age of two, she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing when she began Baby Ballet. Top soloists at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
