Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. She then returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina with a pound and grind to her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance on the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
